I am very aware I am not playing good golf. I am very aware it is my personal responsibility. It is not a mental thing although sometimes club selection has been, in hindsight, very poor. It is a physical thing. Not everything fix is mental. I would argue it is mostly physical, feel, touch. Sure do not prolong anger over a bad shot. Blah, blah. You still have to physically and consistently produce a well timed golf swing to play well. The better you play the more you may find yourself in pressure situations where keeping present is very important. If stuck means not making progress to better golf then I am stuck. It is not because I do not meditate. I like the sunglasses anecdote. Happens to us all. It is normal to be initially mad and stressed. Then you reflect and start to think logically or give up all together and voila the metaphorical sunglasses reappear.

Tim, thank you for updating the thought that "Awareness is curative." When I first heard that, I accepted it and thought that was all that is needed but now it is completed and more understood: “In order to be conscious, it is not enough to be simply awake or aware of what is going on … it requires a response to the stimulus—at least some thought or reflection.

“If you do nothing (with awareness) … you remain unconscious because nothing has happened to you.”

The learning continues. Thank you again. DL
