Brad... when you get to the top of your backswing, don't try to emulate Hideki and pause. Do you remember Bob Murphy? He paused so long at the top, you could have had a cigarette and ordered a pizza by the time he swung down. Re watching YouTube ... be careful as Tiger advises! Thx
Tim, back in the day when Moe and I played quite often, I did a Golf School at Monterra called The Target Line. Moe came by the first day and saw that I was using a 12inch ruler. He interrupted and said Target Line goes right to your target……I explained that if you can hit it a foot in the right direction….Moe said that was too difficult, just “swing to the target, easy even for these guys”.
Thx Gary. You would know better than me, but Moe seemed to me to always be fixated on the target—going there! Worse shot I ever saw him hit was—I believe—because he couldn’t see the flag. To me, the target is everything.
But Tim I can swing to the top of my backswing and stop. Nothing happens. I think I need to watch a couple more YouTube videos. :)
